IDs, mashups and greatest hits were in abundance during Swedish House Mafia performance on the Mainstage of Ultra Korea this past weekend.

Across three days on June 7-9, Ultra returned to Paradise City in Incheon, Korea for a star-studded experience featuring the likes of AlessoArmin van BuurenMathame and others. The highlight for many festivalgoers though was no doubtedly the closing set on the Mainstage from no other than iconic trio Swedish House Mafia. After having to cancel their set back in 2019, this was more than overdue for Korean fans.

Starting out strong, the Swedes burst onto the stage with their intro edit of unreleased track ‘Omen,’ before moving onto an anticipated Steve Angello ID, teasing what would be to come. Speaking of IDs, the set also featured one from multi-time collaborators and co-producers PARISI, and the Swedish House Mafia 2022 rework of ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’ to name a couple.

Not just about new music, the trio perfectly balanced out sounds from their old and new era, with ‘Frankenstein’ ‘Can U Feel It’ and ‘Redlight’ from ‘Paradise Again’ representing their current era. Older tracks such as ‘More Than You Know’, ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ and ‘Greyhound’ provided fans with nostalgic moments and unforgettable singalong experiences.
