John Summit, Tape B, and Subtronics released the big attraction of Miami Music Week, “Gas Pedal”, featuring vocals by Sage the Gemini

On the last Friday of August, John Summit returned with a bang with a new release. “Gas Pedal” is a big attraction, as the ID was unveiled at Miami Music Week. The mainly Dubstep track is accompanied by a super vocal, featuring the hugely successful American rapper Sage the Gemini.

About the Collaboration

The truly energetic song was unveiled at Miami Music Week 2024, an event organized by the Experts Only label. No wonder, as this label is the creation of John Summit, which, among other things, is the publisher that released this four-people collaboration. The debut of “Gas Pedal”, which premiered on the opening day of MMW, also featured Tape B and Subtronics on stage. It was already a big crowd-pleaser, as fans enjoyed it. John Summit recently announced that he will be performing two nights at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. It shows he’s up for the challenge because he sold 15,000 tickets for his show at Madison Square Garden in June. Now he collaborates with Tape B, a dubstep artist and returning member of Circus Records. Jesse Kardon, aka Subtronics, an American DJ and producer who also works in the dubstep genre, joined this amazing team.

About the track

The track boasts very energetic beats, with a tempo of 129 BPM. No wonder, as Tape B and Subtronics have brought their usual hard work to this massive single. The track really evokes a nostalgic feeling in the listener, and with its unique soundscape, it’s a great dubstep release. And to this, John Summit added his usual expertise, knowing his work as a producer. And this great production team got to use the uplifting vocals of Sage the Gemini, aka Dominic Wynn Woods, American rapper, singer, and songwriter. It’s important to point out that this song is just a sample from Sage the Gemini’s original track “Gas Pedal”, which he released in 2014. But regardless of that, they have recreated the original hip-hop song nicely in the dubstep genre.
