Following his recent trend of reworking or remixing hit songs, FISHER continued the spree with a fresh remix for Marlon Hoffstadt’s 2023 hit It’s That Time.

It feels like FISHER, the Australian house legend, has taken 2024 as a year to put his signature spin on some tracks he loves. Obviously, he has accumulated much success with some of the reworks or remixes this year. For example, he and Chris Lake are closing in on 60 million streams on their rework of Somebody by Gotye & Kimbra. Now, FISHER flawlessly continued his remix spree with a fresh take on Marlon Hoffstadt’s It’s That Time, showcasing his impressive ability to transform any track into his signature dancefloor weapon.

The It’s That Time remix is everything you would hope for from FISHER. The Australian powerhouse made sure to keep it safe this time around. Although he used his characteristic house style, he did it as perfectly as possible. The bassline is groovy and easily gets stuck in the listeners’ heads, while the upbeat vocals of the original have been substantially slowed down to complement the BPM of the remix. Logically, the FISHER remix is 130 BPM as opposed to the original’s 147 BPM. Premiered at the Out 2 Lunch Festival in April, fans and enthusiasts have been craving to have the remix as soon as possible. Now that it is out, it’s a great addition to FISHER’s impressive catalog, although slowly expanding since the Australian always prefers quality over quantity.

FISHER recently debuted his brand-new production at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. Surprisingly, he described the show as “the most energy I’ve felt in a room from start to finish”. Throughout its hour-and-a-half runtime, he played almost every single one of his greatest hits, including Losing It and You Little Beauty, as well as an interesting new ID with Flowdan.
