For the last couple of years, Armin van Buuren has been one of the busiest DJs on the scene, only rivaled by the likes of David Guetta, Tiësto, and perhaps even Hardwell. Despite his unwavering dedication, Armin has never played a solo set at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. However, that is about to change this November. The fan-favorite “king of trance” is set to make his long-awaited debut with a special show.
As mentioned above, November is set to go down in the history books, the 14th of November precisely. Even though this is Armin van Buuren’s debut solo performance on the Red Rocks, he did manage to play on the amphitheater once before. In the distant 2006, Armin was a part of a massive Global Dance Festival lineup which included legendary acts such as BT, JES from Motorcycle, Kaskade, and more. Armin announced his Red Rocks show with a ridiculously cool poster, one that may set the tone for the theme of the show.
The last couple of weeks may as well be the crowdiest weeks of Armin’s 2024. He created the official anthem for the Euro 2024 Netherlands football team campaign alongside the band Chef’Special. As well as the anthem, he also released City Lights together with VIZE and Leony and an official remix for Seven Lions, Illenium, and ASDIS’ Not Even Love. He also played a monumental b2b set together with David Guetta at Ushuaïa Ibiza and teased a collaboration with the aforementioned French legend. Tickets for Armin van Buuren’s debut Red Rocks performance will go on sale tomorrow and you can sign up here.
